After 2 years of consolidation, Vietnam Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd (VIAGS) has affirmed the brand name, quality of service of the leading airports in Vietnam and the region.

Breakthrough after merging

VIAGS was established on 1/1/2016 based on the merger of three ground service companies NIAGS - DIAGS - TIAGS. VIAGS is the first business in Vietnam specializing in providing airport ground services in a uniform, international standard at three airports: Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang and Noi Bai. Continuing its sustained success, in 2017, VIAGS continued to affirm its position on the path of development with proud achievements. According to statistics, in 2017, VIAGS serves a total of 122,616 flights, up 4.5% over 2016, the number of VIAGS passengers served 37,309,286 turns, up 1.3% over the year. Pretax profit was estimated at VND151.8 billion, equivalent to 100.8% of the revised target, up 13.4% compared to 2016. At present, VIAGS is serving an average of 600 flights a day. Approximately 3,300 tons of cargo arrives at NBA, DAD, TSN ports for about 70 airlines, accounting for 58% of Vietnam's ground service market share.

The performance of VIAGS's safety targets in 2017 will also outperform those of 2016 and 2015. The VAGGGS '2016 safety index is being controlled and implemented more effectively. Along with that, VIAGS staff continued to promote good examples of good people, acknowledging 172 cases of employees picked up and returned valuable assets for passengers. In 2017, the total number of VIAGS assets picked up was 13,924, an increase of 17.2% from 2016. Total cash receipts were VND 12,467,529,000, an increase of 55% over 2016. These proved that VIAGS not only provided 4-star service, but also exceed the expectations of customers.
