In the series of activity with the purpose of celebrating the 109th anniversary of International Women’s Day 8-3 and the 88th anniversary of the establishment of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with the consent of Party Committee/ Board of Directors of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat, after a period of proper preparation, Executive Committee of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Youth Union decided to set up a board of organization, and kick off the 2019 VIAGS Tan Son Nhat Women’s Football League. The opening ceremony of the league is held with the participation of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Board of Directors, honored guests, sponsors, representative of Prime Minister, departments/centers’ officers, and more than 60 beautiful female players from 06 teams of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s departments.

This is a practical and beneficial sport activity, with the aim of creating a useful and constructive playground, strengthening team-bonding among different departments of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat.
The league is organized in 2 days, 14th and 16th March 2019, participated by 06 teams with a total of more than 60 beautiful female players, competing through 10 matches. 06 teams are divided into two groups, playing altogether on March 14 to select 04 teams into the semifinal round. 06 teams in the qualification round on March 14, 2019 include:
1. Domestic Passenger Service, VNA Passenger Service Center
2. International Passenger Service, VNA Passenger Service Center
3. Transit Passenger Service, VNA Passenger Service Center
4. Passenger Service Center for clients
5. Office Departments Alliance
6. Ramp Groups Alliance
After 06 intense matches in the qualification round, 2019 VIAGS Tan Son Nhat Women’s Football League finds out 04 teams which successfully advance to the semifinal, namely:
Domestic Passenger Service Team and Office Departments Alliance Team: Group A
Transit Passenger Service Team and International Passenger Service Team: Group B

The first semifinal match between Domestic Passenger Service and International Passenger Service team is intense and thrilling with the repeated attacks and defenses from both teams. Both goalkeepers are excellent at preventing the opponent’s powerful attacks. The match ended 0-0, and two teams have to enter the penalty match in order to choose the winner getting to the next round. With the extreme concentration and alert, Domestic Passenger Service team wins over International Passenger Service team and advances to the final round.
