Under the clear direction of Board of Directors, Labor Union and Youth Union of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat launches 2019 Youth Month Program: “Youth Drink Booths”, with the purpose of serving free and fresh drinks to workers. The program “Youth Drink Booths” serves labors from 12:00 to 15:00 every day, during the period of March 01 – April 30, 2019 at A41 area – VIAGS Tan Son Nhat.
Behind the completion of punctual and safe flights, there are hardships of the staffs, working under the hot and irritable weather, which are mostly invisible to people’s eyes. The temperature of 40-41˚C outside along with the extra heat absorbed from concrete ground cause the severe deterioration of staffs of Operation Center, Ramp Services Center, On-board Services Center and Passenger Services Center – those are who directly provide the ground services under the blazing sun, regardless of the time and extreme weather. Deeply understanding the hard and intensive works of the labors, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Youth Union members enthusiastically serve cold drinks to the workers on the ramp who work hard to ensure the safety of flights.

At the Youth Drink Booths, the Youth Union’s units arrange 2-3 members to join in every shift, ensuring the effective services for the workers. The program of “Youth Drink Booths” serves around 400-600 glasses every day, leaving a good impression on the active and energetic imagine of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Youth Union members.
The program helps to boost the spirit of Youth Union, and simultaneously improve the level of unity, exchange and team-bonding among the Union’s units. All of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat staffs joined in the event together overcome the hot season and complete the assigned tasks.
