In the exciting atmosphere of the first briefings of 2020, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat has praised and rewarded individuals of VNA International Passenger Services Team, Passenger Services Center for the outstanding performance in flight services. In particular:
Mr. Do Huu Thanh – from VNA International Passenger Services Team, Passenger Services Center – has timely
detected and informed the Tan Son Nhat Operation Center to stop 01 passenger with unqualified passport for Cambodia’s entering on flight VN813 date December 26, 2019 of route SGN-REP; helping Vietnam Airlines to avoid the loss of about USD500 (equivalent to VND11,625,000) if that passenger is returned to Vietnam.
Ms. Chau Ngoc Yen Thanh – from VNA International Passenger Services Team, Passenger Services Center – has timely
detected and informed the Tan Son Nhat Operation Center to stop 01 passenger with unqualified passport for Indonesia’s entering on flight VN641 date December 29, 2019 of route SGN-DPS; helping Vietnam Airlines to avoid the loss of about INR50,000,000 (equivalent to VND80,000,000) if that passenger is returned to Vietnam.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Mr. Pham Phu Yen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director - praised, highly appreciated the high vigilance spirit of the staff who promptly detected and prevented cases of
illegal exit. The Deputy Director asked the staff to propagate and share these cases to all staff to learn from experience and avoid mistakes when the company
was preparing to enter the peak of the Lunar New Year.
Recently, the phenomenon of using invalid unqualified travel documents is increasing quickly, requiring procedures to always be alert when checking travel
papers.
The achievement of timely detection and prevention of 351 cases of unauthorized
exiting passengers in 2019 showed the professional attitude and stable
skills of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat's staff, helping the image, brand of Vietnam Airlines and VIAGS are trusted and selected by customers, contributing to the prevention of illegal
exiting/entering crimes, and protecting national security.
