PASSENGER SERVICES CENTER OF VIAGS TAN SON NHAT ACCOMPANYING WITH CUSTOMER AIRLINES TO WELCOME THE CHRISTMAS 2019

From December 23 to December 25, 2019, in the joyful atmosphere of the last days of the year, Customer Airlines Services Center - Passenger Services Center of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat organized a series of activities to celebrate Christmas and New Year and 2019 which will be reserved exclusively for passengers traveling on T2 Depicturing Terminal - Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The exciting dance performances at the boarding gate of the airlines’ flights and the image of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat's Santa Claus rang the bell and gave candy to children attracting the majority of passengers on the plane and were warmly welcomed!

A series of activities to celebrate Christmas and New Year is held annually. The cheerful dances and radiant smiles of the staff of Customer Airlines Services Center sent to passengers on the plane as warm wishes for a peaceful Christmas season and a happy New Year, and is also an affirmation for the commitment and cooperation of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat for airlines customers.

LABOR UNION IN COLLABORATION WITH VIAGS TAN SON NHAT YOUTH UNION PRESENT HEARTFUL GIFT BAGS TO IN NEED STAFF DURING COVID-19

The spirit of solidarity has always been considered as one of the good character traits of Vietnamese people. In the past months, COVID-19 has made VIAGS staff’s lives more difficult and tougher than ever before due to the suspension of work because of the sharp decrease in the number of flights resulting in no income. Moreover, there are considerably high numbers of VIAGS staff living in rental properties or staying in areas that undergo strict lockdown or isolation/quarantine where food supply is limited. Understanding the grave situation and empathizing with workers, The VIAGS Tan Son Nhat committee party and Board of Management directed two unions (the Youth Union and Labor Union) to launch a campaign that looked after the welfare of these in need staff. After a long day of careful, yet swift preparation (e.g. contacting food providers in the city, collaborating with other programs to ‘rescue’ agricultural products in Mekong Delta). On the afternoon of the 8^th of August, 2021, the Labor Union collaborating with Youth Union paid a visit to households of more than 100 staff and handed heartful gift bags containing rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, cooking oil, eggs, canned meat, vegetables as encouragement for our colleagues during this hard time.

VIAGS TAN SON NHAT SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED SERVICES FOR THE INAUGURAL FLIGHT OF STARLUX AIRLINES.

In the morning of 13^rdMay 2021, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat organized to deliver services for the inaugural flight of Starlux Airlines (JX) at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Starlux Airlines operates the aircraft A321 NEO for the routes from Taiwan to Macau, Penang, Bangkok, Osaka, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, and it is well-known as the luxury airlines with high class services. JX plans to operates weekly turnaround flights at Tan Son Nhat International Airport with arrival flight no.JX711 and departure flight no.JX712, frequency 3 flights per week connecting Taiwan and Ho Chi Minh City.

On July 16, 2020, at the meeting room of the 4th floor - VIAGS Operator Center, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat held a commendation ceremony for Ms. Ha Thi Thu Hien - Staff of Cabin Clean Service Team for her beautiful action when picked up the property of nearly 35 million dong and returned it to the passengers. Attending the ceremony were the Board of Directors and heads of Departments / Centers of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat.
