On the morning of May 17, 2025, at Da Nang International Airport, Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company – Da Nang Branch (VIAGS Da Nang), in collaboration with DHT Aviation, held a formal ceremony to welcome the inaugural flight of Qanot Sharq Airlines (IATA: HH), officially launching the direct air route connecting Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Da Nang – Vietnam’s leading coastal tourism hub.
The flight, designated HH2235, landed at 10:07 AM, carrying 197 passengers, primarily tourists from Uzbekistan and Russia, who came to explore and experience Da Nang’s renowned tourist attractions. On the outbound leg, flight HH2236 departed Da Nang at 11:16 AM with 29 passengers on board.

In attendance at the event, Mr. Le Tan Phong – Deputy Director of VIAGS Da Nang, along with branch staff, presented a congratulatory floral arrangement and extended best wishes to Qanot Sharq Airlines and representatives of DHT Aviation. The ceremony took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, embodying the hospitality spirit of the beautiful coastal city.

VIAGS Da Nang and DHT Aviation also co-hosted a cordial inaugural event to create a memorable reception for the airline’s passengers.

The Tashkent – Da Nang route, operated by Qanot Sharq Airlines using modern Airbus A321 aircraft, is scheduled at a frequency of two flights per week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. This direct route from Uzbekistan to Da Nang enhances air connectivity between Central Asia and Vietnam – a region with substantial potential for tourism, cultural exchange, and trade.
Tashkent, a historic and vibrant city rich in Silk Road heritage, and Da Nang, a destination known for its natural beauty, well-developed infrastructure, and friendly locals, are now closer than ever. The launch of this new route marks a significant milestone in fostering bilateral relations and promoting international aviation connectivity between the two regions.
